My Faith

I was raised Catholic, went atheist, went Wiccan, Mormon, and for the last 12 years, saw some crazy things that lead me to strongly believe in the higher power that is Jesus.

Not everyone can see through my eyes, and I can't see through everyone elses' eyes as to what drew them to their belief.
I study multiple religions so I can have a grasp of what each person believes, as I'm not out to offend.
My only wish is that people remember:
There's smart Christians. There are insane, closed-minded, self-satisfying Christians.
This also applies to atheists, Buddhists, Muslim, and so on...
Same goes for animal-lovers or any group or organization.

In the end, we're all human. We all "sin". We are not perfect.

Jesus says to treat your neighbor as you'd like to be treated.
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” - Matthew 22:36-40
All faiths have their "Golden Rule" and I request all to follow.

Some people make things up and preach it as truth, some want to be humble and go about their b'ness.
I try to be humble, although I'm outspoken. No one is perfect and I'll try to be the first one to say sorry.

Some things that went down when I was Mormon:
I participated it the creepy Baptism of the Dead (If you're not a Mormon when you die, you go into limbo until a living, virgin mormon does this thing for you). They got mad at me because I didn't take off my underwear in the white jumpsuit they gave me. Anyhoo... I am no longer mormon. Mormonism is a trap. They're super nice then they slowly tell you what the really believe, then you slowly step away nodding... then proceed to run.

  3. The Mormon faith does not require one to be a virgin to baptize for the dead. Members do it all the time, family members, and more. From another Mormon member and more. :)

    1. Then why did they have us kids do it for strangers? Why couldn't they just get anyone to do it? Also I don't believe it's God's will either.
"It is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment" Hebrews 9:27
"Each one will be judged for what HE has done in the body."
2 Corinthians 5:10 is about the surety of the resurrection, not about baptism for the dead.

I also have a beef with Marriage in Heaven. Matthew 22:28 "28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?” 29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
