Creative Criticism

My brother used to insult my drawings all the damn time. Yeah, they were probably crappy, I was a kid, but I kept drawing because it made me happy.
His insults made me look at my drawings and figure out ways to get better, it also taught me how to be my own critic and take criticism at an early age.
Now art/design pays the bills, and helps promote things I'm passionate about (Animal rescue! Yay!).
Whenever I'm getting creativity block, I tell myself "Draw to de-stress, not to impress." I chill out and think clearer. Even when I'm doing art for someone else, it gets me back into that zone.
