After the vet visit, of which was pretty fun - being a bird nerd and all, we headed back to Southwest Boca to drop Stevie off, then proceeded 40 minutes north to Lake Worth.
The family adopting the lovies were very patient with getting them. We thought they were ready to go three weeks prior, but turns out Chubs had a bacteria, so he needed three single shots of doxy through the span of three weeks; one shot per week for six weeks.
Hey, at least they didn't have PBFD.
Talking to the adoption mom right now. She loves them. She was MIA from having a cold and needing to wake up at 5am.
We didn't get back home until really late. Had to drop off dad, pick up Stevie, then head back to Fort Lauderdale.
I'm very happy they went to a loving and patient family.
I had to throw 200$ out of my dismal savings to pay for the vet visit. I'm sooooo broke. Hopefully I can be reimbursed. Been trying to think of ways to make more money.
I make enough to survive and have been relying on savings to tend to my personal flock. It's all dwindling. I want to be able to live and take spoil both my birds and rescue birds.
I really like being home and playing with my guys, but I want to be able to do more.
Usually I go with the flow of life. Is life telling me to flow a different way?
Gotta pray about it. MMHMM.
