Halloween Horror Nights - Day1

I can't believe how crowded it was on a THURSDAY. That has never happened before.
It was reminiscent of the time we were dumb enough to go on a Saturday.

We were only able to go into 2 of the houses. The Thursdays of years prior, we were able to go through ALL the houses with a top wait of 15 minutes. I'm guessing it was the mix of Silent Hill and Walking Dead nerds.

Silent Hill house seemed meh, in retrospect, because of 4 issues.
  1. The first monster (Armless Man) should've been more gory/shiney and detailed, same with a few other critters. (Although nurses were fine and dandy).
  2. The second complaint is "WHERE THE FUG WAS PYRAMID HEAD?!" Ugh. That upset me. He was in the game AND the movies. Where was he? Where was the raep?
  3. I was kinda hoping some of the roaming critters would embellish the outside of the house. Walking Dead had the Sophia car and zombies roaming... Sigh. Where's the SH love?
  4. Lastly, the video outside showed things that had nothing to do with Silent Hill other than a new SH PSP Vita promo. >:/
I feel the house was almost an after thought compared to the other houses. It may or may not have been, and it wasn't horrible, but they had a good bit of references to go by. D:

Walking Dead was great. It was nice to see the zombie cast parade beside us while we were waiting in line and they were changing shifts.

We went on the regular rides since Brett hasn't been on any of the new ones since he hasn't been there in 20 years. The Rip Ride Rocket is my favorite Roller Coaster out of the ones in both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Listened to Shiny Toy Guns that time around. The 60 minute wait for that was worth it.
Mary and Izzy were able to go to another House while Melissa, Brett and I hobbles in line for the coaster.

Brett, not giving a fluff, he took a picture of the MIB ride's photo on the screens... We're saving on paper, shut up Universal.

On the bright financial side. Since I had the annual pass from last year, Brett and my HHN tickets were at a decent discount. =)
